These are the terms that govern your use of foliumbeardco.com and any purchase you make from FOLIUM. They’re written to be clear rather than clever — please read them.
By using this site or placing an order, you’re agreeing to what follows.
About FOLIUM
FOLIUM is operated by Folium Beard Co LLC, a small business based in Winter Garden, Florida, owned and operated by Aleks.
When these terms say “we,” “us,” or “FOLIUM,” that’s who you’re dealing with. When they say “you,” that’s the person using the site or buying from it.
Who Can Buy
You need to be at least 18 years old, or have a parent or guardian’s permission, to place an order.
By checking out, you’re confirming that the payment method is yours to use and the shipping address is accurate.
Products
FOLIUM sells personal care products, including beard oils, beard butters, beard wash, and related grooming items.
These are cosmetic products intended for external use only. Ingredients are listed on each product page and/or product packaging.
If you have known allergies or sensitivities, please review the ingredients before using. If you’re unsure, patch test on a small area first.
FOLIUM products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.
Pricing and Availability
Prices are listed in US dollars and may change without notice.
I do my best to keep product pages accurate, but occasionally an item may be out of stock or a price may be listed in error. If that happens, I’ll reach out and either correct the issue or cancel the order with a full refund.
Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy, not a guaranteed sale.
FOLIUM reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order — for example, if a product is out of stock, if there’s a pricing error, or if an order looks fraudulent.
If I cancel an order you’ve already paid for, you’ll get a full refund.
Payment
Payment is processed at checkout through Shopify Payments and other authorized payment processors.
FOLIUM does not store your full card information.
Shipping, Returns, and Refunds
Shipping, returns, and refunds are covered in the Shipping Policy and Returns & Refunds policy. Those policies are part of these terms.
Your Account
If you create an account, keep your password to yourself. You’re responsible for activity on your account.
If you think someone else has accessed it, email aleks@foliumbeardco.com and I’ll help you sort it out.
Using the Site
Please don’t try to break the site, scrape it, copy its content, resell its products without permission, or use it for anything illegal.
Standard stuff — I trust you.
Intellectual Property
The FOLIUM name, logo, product names, photography, and written content on this site belong to Folium Beard Co LLC.
You’re welcome to share, link, and tag — I appreciate it. Please don’t reproduce content commercially without asking first.
Reviews and Submissions
If you leave a review or send in a photo, you’re giving FOLIUM permission to share it on the site, social media, or marketing materials, with credit where appropriate.
You can ask to have it removed at any time — just email me.
Limitation of Liability
FOLIUM products are made with care, but I can’t guarantee how your skin will respond to any particular ingredient.
Use products as directed, patch test if you’re sensitive, and stop using anything that causes irritation.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, FOLIUM’s liability for any claim related to a product or this site is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question.
FOLIUM isn’t liable for indirect or consequential damages — lost time, lost income, that kind of thing.
This doesn’t limit any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.
Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated occasionally. The current version will always be on this page, with the “last updated” date at the bottom.
Continuing to use the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States.
Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida.
